📋 What is Needed for Nikah

To schedule a Nikah ceremony at Kinshicho Masjid, please prepare the following:

✅ Required Documents:

• Copy of passport or residence card (Zairyu card) for bride and groom

• Proof of Muslim identity (e.g., shahadah certificate if converted)

• 1 passport-sized photo (bride & groom)

• Bride’s Wali (guardian) presence and consent (if applicable)

• Agreement on Mahr (dowry)

• Two Muslim male witnesses (with ID)

If the bride’s Wali cannot attend, a Wali can be appointed from the mosque upon request.

🕯️ Steps in the Nikah Ceremony

1. Khutbah of Nikah (short sermon explaining marriage in Islam)

2. Ijab & Qabul – mutual consent of both parties

3. Signing of Marriage Certificate

4. Dua and advice for the couple

Note: We can provide the certificate in English or Japanese. This is a religious marriage certificate, not a legal Japanese government registration.
